FWD EVENTS - Drinksummit '09
Drinksummit is a specific drinks conference, which focuses on the beers, wines and spirits marketplace and the importance of the wholesaler in it. Launched 19 years ago, Drinksummit has become the premier event for wholesalers and suppliers involved in the drinks business. Drinksummit 2008 Synopsis Not only did we see wholesalers and suppliers on the platform at this year's Drinksummit - for the first time ever, no fewer than six independents told their stories from the platform - a mark of the increasing focus by FWD on promoting the wholesaler-retailer partnership on a practical just-do-it platform. My Store, My Story was the theme. The focus was on the point of difference provided by the local store and on case histories of how independents have learnt to present an offering to their customers which is very different from the old "jumble sale" effect.
