Girl power! Trio to boost Pricecheck business

New appointments key to wholesaler’s ambitious growth plans

A trio of new faces has been brought in at Pricecheck as the global wholesaler aims to hit a turnover of £200 million by 2025.

The Sheffield-based business has appointed Jane Whitham as its new Head of Marketing, along with Project Manager Helen Coulthard and Sales Support Manager Jessica Ellis.

The three new starters have joined as part of Pricecheck’s aggressive growth aims in both the domestic and export arms of its business, which they hope will see last year’s £80 million turnover increase to hit £200 million in the next six years. And with an international distribution arm that provides in excess of 80 countries with more than 4,500 products, the basis is there to succeed.

Whitham is a former director of PR agency, Cream Consultancy, while Coulthard has plenty of wholesale experience having worked at Bestway, and Palmer and Harvey in the past. Ellis, on the other hand, has joined from Virgin Media Business to take a senior position heading up the 30-strong direct sales force.

“We’re investing in the very best people to help drive Pricecheck forward,” said Joint Managing Director Debbie Harrison. “We’re a very people-focused business and have ambitious plans to continue our growth journey.

“Coupled with our continual investment in technology and a bespoke, tailored service for customers and brand owners alike, we are committed to ensuring our partners and customers get the absolute best service.

“These are transformational times for Pricecheck and ensuring we’ve got the best people is absolutely critical to our continued success. It’s a pleasure to welcome Jane, Helen and Jessica to the Pricecheck team.”
