Unitas launches maiden Plan for Profit guide

Impulse category guide the first since Landmark and Today’s merger

Unitas Wholesale has launched its 2019 Plan for Profit category guide – the first since the newly formed business merged Landmark Wholesale and Today’s Group at the end of last year.

The guide focuses on the core and extended ranges for the impulse category and demonstrates the combined knowledge and expertise of the two buying groups now they’ve become one.

The impulse category guide has been compiled using information provided by Unitas’s supplier partners, industry experts and wholesale members, and includes a full listing of key products that retailers are advised to stock in order to maximise sales and profits within the category.

Key category insights regarding confectionery, crisps and snacks, protein and soft drinks also feature to help retailers better understand and grow their categories in store.

And, for the first time, the 2019 Plan for Profit core range has been updated to feature the Lifestyle, LSV and Sunspring own label brands that Unitas is backing.

The grocery and non-food, and licensed and tobacco category editions will be released in summer and late autumn 2019 respectively, and in doing so will ensure the categories are as up to date as possible and relevant to the key trading and seasonal times of the year.
