RNF and Erudus combine to offer top prize

One lucky wholesaler could get two for one by winning quarterly competition

Two service providers have pitched in to offer wholesalers a bumper prize this spring.

Digital services expert, RNF, and food product data specialists, Erudus, have joined forces to come up with a competition that could see wholesale business owners earn themselves a personalised, white-label ordering app and a 12-month licence for Erudus’s food data platform.

The prize is the latest offering from RNF’s Big App Giveaway, which is running in each quarter this year to mark the 10th anniversary since the company was founded.

The union between the two brands extends further than simply the competition, with users of RNF’s Beam Commerce platform who signed up to Erudus now receiving enhanced product data during the purchasing process.

“This app raises the bar for wholesalers, and I’d urge them to enter the competition to get the chance to get their hands on it,” said RNF Managing Director, Rob Mannion.

“By teaming up with Erudus, we’ve been able to boost the value of this quarter’s prize even further, giving the winning wholesaler access to a great food product data tool that will greatly enhance the customer engagement experience. 

“We had a great response to the first Big App Giveaway and want to encourage as many wholesalers to take part in the Q2 competition.”

RNF already works with 18 wholesalers in the industry and with Erudus now having 128 wholesalers registered to its platform, the pair are making waves in the sector. And Erudus Chief Operating Officer Jon Shayler explains that the partnership is the next step to achieving even more.

Shayler said: “We’re excited to be linking up with a developer that is well-respected in the in the industry, and recognises the importance of data in the modern age.

“This means even more manufacturers, wholesalers, and caterers will benefit from Erudus, with just under 90,000 of them currently signed up to the platform.”

To be in with a chance of winning, wholesalers should complete the online entry form and submit it by the end of Q2. The winner will be chosen by a panel of industry experts with the lucky wholesaler being announced within 30 days of the deadline for entries and their app going live shortly afterwards.
