Erudus joins forces with Sharp-aX
Latest collaboration to reach even more food and drink wholesalers with product data
Food data business Erudus continues its busy year with another industry collaboration to hit an even greater number of wholesalers with its information.
The business has entered an integration partnership with Sharp-aX, taking its tally for number of collaborations in the past 10 months to six.
The latest deal will see all users of Sharp-aX’s ERp software food module get instant access to Erudus’s database of product information, which includes allergen and nutritional data.
Erudus’s strategy of teaming up with like-minded business to get its information out into the industry is accelerating its mission to revolutionise food data and Chief Operating Officer Jon Shayler believes it’s an approach that’s working.
“Integration partnerships such as these allow us to push the data further to support as many brands as possible,” said Shayler.
“It’s a time-consuming process for the foodservice chain to manage product specifications and exploring options with companies like Sharp-aX allows us to reach more people and make their lives easier.
“For our integration partners, they can offer true added value to their users and I would urge anyone interested in finding out more to get in touch.”
For Sharp-aX, the agreement adds an extra string to its bow at a time when there’s a large focus on allergen information being clearly communicated across the supply chain.
And with a host of wholesalers and distributors using the Hertfordshire-based company’s system, Sharp-aX Managing Director Jean Freeman is delighted to announce the partnership.
“We believe the food integration module/partnership will soon become imperative to our food customers with regard to the aggressive changes of laws and regulations surrounding allergens,” said Freeman.
“The data is entered directly by the manufacturers, which means our customers take food information directly from source with a clear chain of responsibility.
“The significant time saving with instant access to key stats allows Sharp-aX customers to view and download data from Erudus to their website seamlessly.”
