Welcome to your new-look Wholesale News. The May 2018 issue is now published (my first as editor), and you’ll see that we’ve given the magazine a facelift. You can take a look at the first issue now as a digital edition by clicking the cover (left). We’re building on 28 years of Wholesale News success to bring the magazine kicking and screaming into 2018, thanks to a new approach packed with digestible content, fantastic photography and a more accessible design – not to mention all the industry insight you’re used to.

From the suppliers that produce what we sell, through the delivery companies that help us get stock to where we need it, to the customers splashing their cash at hotels, convenience stores, restaurants and schools, we’ll be there to reveal the insights and stories that matter. And to kick us off with May’s issue, we spent time with a barbecue chef to find out all about what the latest trends in grilled summer flavours are going to be, while also taking a look at the growing popularity of craft beer by visiting one of the UK’s leading brewers.

It’s an exciting time for the new Wholesale News team because not only have we refreshed the magazine, but as you‘ll have seen we’ve also revamped the website, which is now part of the FWD’s site, to make it the premier destination for the latest industry news and views, and the newsletter has been given a facelift too.
