Diversity, Inclusion and Equity
Diversity in Wholesale

Diversity in Wholesale is an initiative from FWD to encourage diversity and inclusion in the wholesale channel by providing support and a welcoming environment for talented people from all backgrounds.

We believe that for the wholesale sector to attract, retain and inspire the widest range of available talent it needs to provide an environment where people of any age, gender, ethnic group or social background are given opportunities and the right support they need to succeed.

Diversity in Wholesale aims to help wholesalers and suppliers overcome obstacles to inclusion and equity.

Introducing the FWD Academy

The FWD Academy is an immersive, year-round experience that will support businesses in embedding inclusion into their workplace culture 365 days a year, moving beyond traditional diversity moments to create lasting, sustainable change. Delivered through key touchpoints across 12 months, the programme will begin with a high-profile launch event on June 12th, 2025 at FWDLive, featuring a keynote address from Baroness Warsi. This will be followed by a pilot phase running from July to December 2025, with a Parliamentary launch planned for autumn at the House of Commons. The full Academy rollout is scheduled for January 2026.
