Festive frenzy for Country Fare
First-ever event is a “resounding success” for foodservice company
Christmas came early for Country Fare when it threw its first-ever festive event for suppliers and members.
Instead of preparing a turkey with all the trimmings for its guests, the Bournemouth-based foodservice company showcased a range of new product launches and exclusive deals to whip up some business as the big day creeps up on us.
Hosted at The Italian Villa in Poole, the event was divided into four distinct zones – savoury, discovery, sweet and cheese – so visitors could navigate around on a culinary adventure.
As well as enjoying samples and the chance to chew the fat with suppliers and staff members, guests were also treated to chef demonstrations from Mark Tilling, Chris Godfrey and Molecular Magic Creative Catering.
“This was our first ever Fresh Christmas trade show and I’m delighted that it was a resounding success,” said Country Fare Marketing Manager, Tim Whyatt.
“Christmas in a busy time for everyone and this event give guests the opportunity to discover the latest new products, flavours and gain inspiration for the festive season.”
