Brindisa Spanish Foods brings in two new faces

Spanish wholesaler to increase customers in north of England and Scotland

Two exciting new appointments have been made at Brindisa Spanish Foods as the speciality wholesaler extends its reach across the UK.

Gayle Swan and Joe Whittick have been brought in as regional account managers, as the Brindisa targets more business in Scotland and the north of England.

Whittick will cover the north of England and joins with vast experience of the sector, having founded his own deli in Cheshire, which now has four sites. While Swan will be using her knowledge of working for Brakes and an independent cafe in Glasgow to focus north of the border.

The new positions are the latest step forward for Brindisa, which has spotted the potential to widen its customer based after predominantly supplying customers in the south of the UK for more than 30 years.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Gayle and Joe to the team,” said Chairman and Product Director Monika Linton.

“They both bring drive, passion and a wealth of experience to the business. We’ve been advocating Spanish food in the south east of the UK for the past three decades, so it’s an exciting step to expand the business further through dedicated regional managers.

“We believe this on-the-ground presence will help us to establish much stronger relationships with customers over the coming months and years.”
