Sugro offers training modules to members

Buying group becomes the latest wholesaler to provide online learning

Members of a leading buying group will have the chance to brush up on some of the industry’s most important topics after signing up to a new innovative online training programme.

Sugro has become the latest wholesale business to join forces with Bolt Learning to offer the service to its members, giving them access to interactive training modules covering GDPR, health and safety, and business development skills.

By focusing on people development and improving the standards of their members’ businesses, Sugro is delivering on one of its promises after Managing Director Neil Turton took over last year to raise standards in the group.

“At Sugro, we’re committed to ensuring our members have access to all the necessary training and support they need to progress,” said Turton.

“With this in mind, we’re delighted to launch this new and exciting online training programme for 2019.”

Several other wholesalers, retailers and FMCG suppliers working within the sector have embraced the training services offered by Bolt, with JJ Foodservice, Unitas and Bestway also offering online courses to their members and employees.

Bolt Director Tom Fender said: “We’re proud to have been selected as the training provider for Sugro UK. Their employees and members will now have access to a range of digital training modules, which can be done at any time, on any device, and will give them the skills and knowledge to both protect and grow their businesses.”
