Blakemore Foodservice serves up a treat at exhibition

Business adds catering expertise to leading education sector event

Tasty food and great products were on the menu for Blakemore Foodservice as the business showcased its expertise at a leading industry exhibition.

The foodservice group shone at the Lead Association for Catering in Education’s (LACA) Main Event alongside colleagues from the Country Range Group, as attendees soaked in valuable insight from across the education market.

The three-day event provided the perfect opportunity for the Blakemore Foodservice team to display its products and network with potential new customers. And with the show happening not long after the foodservice arm of the A.F. Blakemore business joined the Country Range Group, the exhibition team had lots of new products to talk about.

As well as displaying products from Country Range’s 750-strong catering range, Blakemore injected its own quality by inspiring attendees with a host of innovative recipe ideas.

“The Main Event provided us with a great opportunity to network and develop our existing customers, as well as the chance to attract new interest,” said Blakemore Foodservice Trade Sector Manager, Matt Johnson.

“A professional chef was hired to provide tasty menu for delegates to try, cooked scratch using new Country Range products in order to introduce customers to our new own-brand range.

“More than 170 suppliers exhibited and hundreds of delegates attended, so it was important for Blakemore Foodservice to have a presence at the event.

“The sales team was able to secure multiple new business leads, which will be followed up over the coming weeks.”
