New digital mag to inspire Confex customers

Foodservice customers at Confex are in for a special treat to help them build their businesses, thanks to the launch of a new magazine.

Called Eat, the digital publication is aimed at the hospitality sector and will be distributed by Confex’s 200 buying group members to their customers.

The new monthly title is packed with industry advice, insight and updates, along with food and drink inspiration for operators to be innovative in their businesses.

“This year has been the most challenging imaginable for the hospitality sector as operators have had to close their doors and continually find ways to adapt their businesses,” said Confex Marketing and HR Director, Jess Douglas.

“This is heartbreaking for independent business owners who are fighting to survive and we wanted to find a way to offer more support.

“By creating Eat, which will go directly to their inbox, they can access a fantastic source of information and inspiration to help them through this incredibly difficult time and beyond.”

The magazine is published by The Bright Media Agency, who are also the licence holder of Wholesale News, and have used their vast industry experience to create the publication that will go out to 60,000 end users in cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and caterers.

“There’s no doubt all foodservice businesses have suffered this year and it can be time consuming for busy owners to find reliable, trustworthy information to help them navigate their way through,” said The Bright Media Agency’s Content Director, Stephenie Shaw.

By creating Eat, Confex is supporting its foodservice customers with truly invaluable information from leading suppliers, industry experts and those in the sector, all in one place, and all direct to their inbox.”
