Two more members for Confex
Buying group Confex has announced two more new members, bolstering the group’s annual turnover by £600m. This takes its tally of new members to 15 during 2020.
“Confex is extremely excited about Holland Bazaar and Randalls joining us,” said Tom Gittins, Confex MD. “We look forward to helping them continue their business growth, along with the other 13 wholesale members we have welcomed during 2020.”
Holland Bazaar is a London-based foodservice cash and carry with depots in Edmonton and Croydon. Focusing mainly on fast food and ethnic foods with frozen, chilled, ambient, soft drinks and confectionery, the wholesaler also offers 30% fresh fruit and veg.
Based in Jersey, Channel Islands, Randalls Limited was established in 1823 and has undergone many changes over the years, building a successful wholesale and hospitality business consisting of restaurants, hotels and nightclubs.
“Confex is becoming the natural home for forward-thinking wholesalers,” said Martin Williams, Confex Chairman. “They can take advantage of our terms, promotions, marketing, events and our new own brand range, CORE, which will have 300 SKUs from January. We remain open to discuss membership with any progressive wholesaler who wants to be a part of such a dynamic and changing group.”Confex Holland Bazaar Martin Williams membership Randalls Tom Gittins
