Mental health training available with Women in Wholesale

Women in Wholesale has paired with Aiding Mental Health to provide a third off the price of online training.

The diversity organisation has paired with the training business  to help with mental health awareness in the workplace, which has been a hot topic due to Covid-19.

The importance for businesses and team leaders to get this right is clear, with good mental health connected to increasing productivity and reduce absenteeism.

According to research by the University of Warwick, addressing wellbeing at work increases productivity by up to 12%.

People completing the Aiding Mental Health course will get a certification that’s accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health and the Department of Health, and is the equivalent of a mental first aid qualification.

“One in four people are affected by mental health issues in the UK – and it’s a problem that’s only been exacerbated by the pandemic,” said WiW Founder, Elit Rowland.

Women in Wholesale will be hosting a closed group training session with Mental Health First Aid at a discounted rate of £200 plus VAT per person, compared to £300 before.

Members can register their interest in the course online.
