Paul Knight joins Thomas Ridley as Sales Director

Experienced former Bidfood stalwart Paul Knight has joined Thomas Ridley as Sales Director.

The former Managing Director of Bidvest’s Catering Equipment Division has joined the foodservice wholesaler after 15 years in his previous role.

Knight joins at the same time as another new appointment, Adam Caddy, who has become the Country Range Group member’s E-Commerce Manager.

Thomas Ridley Managing Director Damian Barrett is delighted by the appointments, with Knight’s arrival coming at a key time for the business.

“This has been a really tough year, but we are now able to put our business plans into action and activate key initiatives to move Thomas Ridley forward,” said Barrett.

“This is a great time to welcome Paul to the business and elevate our sales department with his expert skills and industry knowledge. We’re delighted to have him on board.”

Caddy’s role is also likely to be key for Thomas Ridley, with the wholesale adapting their model during the Covid-19 pandemic to have a greater focus on e-commerce.

“Their wealth of experience in their respective fields will empower us to deliver our future plans and the next steps for our business.”
