Caterforce “thrilled” to welcome Iain Julier as trading controller

Caterforce has added a new trading controller to its ranks as it bolsters its head office team.

Iain Julier has joined the foodservice buying group’s team in Macclesfield, arriving with more than 26 years of purchasing experience in retail, wholesale and foodservice.

Julier’s CV includes time at Booker, Iceland and Tassal Limited specialising in fresh and frozen fish buying.

“I’m delighted to be part of the central buying team at Caterforce,” Julier said. “The group has been going through a strong period of growth recently with two new members joining last year and ongoing investment in technology it feels like a really exciting time to join.”

As trading controller, Julier will work with key stakeholders to develop and implement category plans, hit commercial targets and deliver the buying strategy for the group.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Iain to the Caterforce team,” added Managing Director Gary Mullineux. “I have no doubt that his many years of experience will strengthen the buying team and he will be a great asset to the group.  Our members will benefit significantly from Iain’s expertise, and we look forward to working with him.”
