Brakes Festival serves up hot topics

Food inflation, labour challenges and sustainability are just some of the hot topics being covered at Brakes’ Summer Food Festival

Brakes’ virtual events have already built a reputation as a destination site for food and food trends and the Summer 2022 Festival, which runs until August, provides operators with the opportunity to hear about the latest new products and insights, plus chef demos providing practical solutions and ideas. Visitors can also gain insight into the issues facing foodservice and benefitted from support, tailored to different caterer types.

The event will also provide on-demand content focusing on making menus as cost and resource efficient as possible. There will also be a focus on delivering practical chef-to-chef solutions and efficiencies, with new content regularly being added across the two-month event.

Brands including Unilever Food Solutions, Nestlé Professional, pladis and Mars Wrigley will be taking part alongside Brakes, providing new insight, practical guidance as well as creative menu solutions.

Virtual Events have become an increasingly important way of communicating with customers, driven not only by Covid-19 necessity, but also by time pressures that operators are facing. Since they launched in 2020, more than 10,000 customers have visited Brakes’ virtual events.
