Own brand focus pays off for Caterforce

Caterforce’s focus on its own-brand range reaps rewards, winning industry accolades following the foodservice buying group’s investment in staff, research and insight

The Cheshire-based group has several own-brand ranges including Eden Grove, a range of fruit juices for different hospitality settings, and Chefs’ Selection which provides more than 350 fridge, freezer and store cupboard essentials.

The latest awards included the ‘Best of the Best’ award at the CCM Own Brand awards, where products such as Chefs’ Selections Vegan Jaffa Cake (recipient of the ‘Best of the Best’ award – pictured top) and Chefs’ Selections Sticky Rum & Ginger Cake took home prizes for quality. This comes after the Chefs’ Selection range also scooped five Great Taste awards for its White Chocolate and Passionfruit Cake, Doughballs, Vegan Jaffa Cake, Superfood Fruit Cake and American Battered Chicken Fillets.

“We are focusing on our own-brand lines this year and are delighted that they continue to receive recognition for their quality, value and taste,” said Lucy Boland, Marketing Director. “It’s testament to the love, passion and investment that goes into consistently delivering top quality and great value for our customers.

“We have also created an Own Brand Marketing Manager role to drive our plans forward. We’re really excited about 2023 and all the new, innovative customer-centric products we have in the pipeline.”
