Parfetts smashes Easter records

Parfetts saw record sales for its depots over the Easter period with the network of eight depots achieving sales of more than £17 million

This can be attributed to a successful Easter Trade Week promotion designed to support retailer margins and as a result, record trading was reported in Anfield, Halifax and Sheffield. The wholesaler’s latest depot, Birmingham, exceeded expectations and achieved sales of more than £1.6m in its second week of trading.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with how local retailers have responded to the launch of our Birmingham depot,” said Guy Swindell, joint MD. “It’s clear that Parfetts’ no-nonsense approach is attractive to local retailers.”

He credits the record sales to Parfetts support for retailers during challenging times: “Every business faces rising costs, and we are doing all we can to help by increasing the number of promotions and ensuring every promotion has great offers that deliver great margins across all key SKUs. It’s an approach that is helping to attract new customers to our depots and our fascia group.”

In addition to its regular promotions, Parfetts is expanding its calendar of trading events with a Coronation trade event and the return of the popular Parfest for its second year in July, with more planned for the rest of 2023.
