FWDLive! moves to Manchester

FWD’s flagship conference, FWDLive!, is moving to a larger and more accessible venue this year, with 350 delegates expected to attend

The event is moving to the iconic Midland Hotel, Manchester, and will take place on 29 June.

As well as increasing the size of the venue and the audience, the business sessions have also been extended, allowing more time to explore the theme of Sell More, To More.

Delegates will hear senior wholesalers sharing their vision for the channel, with Booker’s Jonny McQuarrie, Bidfood’s CEO Andrew Selley and Caterfood Group boss Philip Atyeo, new Blakemore CEO Carol Welch and our Chairman, Bestway’s Dawood Pervez, all taking the stage.

There’s new voices too with the Future Leaders Forum, and onscreen involvement from six of FWD’s 2022 Gold Medal winners.

The big issues of the moment with be tackled with a deep dive into the sector’s preparations for meeting Net Zero targets from Richard Sheane of 3Keel Group, and a fascinating presentation on the hidden magic of data from Will Wright of Twenty First Group, the sports data intelligence specialist.

Tiffany Oliveira from our headline sponsor American Express will showcase Amex’s solutions support for the industry, from card solutions to open banking. As a counterpoint to the wholesaler presentations, Nic Storey of PepsiCo will present a supplier’s perspective on opportunities and partnerships in the channel.

FWD is also bringing back the popular Two-Minute Challenge, giving service providers the stage for a lightning-fast chance to impress the assembled wholesalers and suppliers.

As The Midland is right in the heart of Manchester, FWD is asking guests to reduce the wholesale sector’s carbon footprint by taking public transport to the venue.

Registration opens at 09:30 and conference closes at 17:30, followed by drinks and dinner and entertainment. Click here to book your place.
