Foodservice wholesaler to open new Antrim cash and carry

Lynas Foodservice is set to open a new cash and carry in Castle Mall, Antrim this week following a significant investment

The Lynas Food Outlet will not require membership to enter and will be open to the general public and foodservice businesses from Thursday 7th March, giving both sets of customers the opportunity to enjoy value across its vast range of groceries, household and homeware products.

The new Lynas Food Outlet will be the family-owned company’s 11th store, and forms part of a wider growth strategy. The new Lynas Food Outlet has created at least 10 new jobs locally.

Lynas Foodservice is a family-run business with a reputation for serving good food to local communities since 1951. The company has grown from a small fishmonger to a large foodservice provider delivering across Northern Ireland, Ireland and Scotland with an ever-expanding range of quality products.

Andrew Lynas, Group Managing Director of Lynas Foodservice, said: “We are delighted to open the new Lynas Food Outlet in Antrim this month. With each new store our core mission remains the same. We ensure that every item we stock always meets two of our three core aims: quality, value and bulk. This ensures that our customers will receive the best products at the best price every time.”
