Wholesale giant launches seasonal campaign to welcome sunnier days

As temperatures prepare to peak, Bestway Wholesale has launched a summer marketing campaign to give its customers an extra boost in the warmer months.

The Summer Sorted campaign goes live in June and will run until August, offering great prices on host of summer must-haves, including ice creams, barbecue food, and soft and licensed drinks.

The promotion will be displayed in Bestway and Batleys depots by a colourful and fun summer creative that will make the deals stand out across bricks and mortar, and online channels.

This will be supported by a Summer Sorted Deals brochure of product promotions, along with POS kits, shelf strips, gondola end finds and headers for best-one retailers to shout about the deals in stores.

“Last year retailers were able to capitalise on the summer of football and the unexpected heatwave that hit the UK,” said Salih Sheikh, Head of Marketing and Digital said.

“In the absence of a big sporting event this year, we have developed a campaign to help capitalise on the 42% of shoppers who are more likely to do things spontaneously as a result of hot summer weather.

“Shoppers visiting a convenience store are looking for impulse products such as drinks, snacks and ice-creams, as well as last-minute barbecue favourites such as buns, soft drinks, crisps & snacks, table sauces and beer.

“We’ve got all of these products on promotion for retailers and consumers and the branded POS kit for best-one and Xtra Local retailers will help highlight the products in store too, with some exciting summer theatre.”
