Women in Wholesale line up revealed

Annual conference welcomes a flurry of insightful speakers to the stage

A host of top speakers have been named on the line up for Women in Wholesale’s latest conference, which is focusing on Progress to Success.

A mix of figures are coming together to speak at the event on 10 October, including industry favourites Louise Birchall from Birchall Foodservice, Sugro’s Head of Trading Yulia Goodwin and FWD’s Chief Executive James Bielby.

The keynote speaker on the day is NatWest Head of Tech Neil Bellamy, who is discussing how the bank has transformed its workspace using technology and interior design to support flexible and remote working to attract a greater pool of talent to the company.

Costco HR Manager Dominic Flanagan will follow up with a session on best practice tips to help wholesalers follow in Costco’s footsteps to become the world’s best place to work, ahead of the likes of Google and T Mobile.

A series of other issues will be discussed throughout the day, including what it’s like for LGBT employees to come out in the workplace, as well as how people can learn to be more resilient and tackle imposter syndrome, which affects as many as 70% of male and female workers at some stage during their careers.

For those of us who struggle with juggling several commitments, Carol Glover will also be on hand to discuss Time Management and how to find original and inventive ways for entrepreneurs to solve complex problems.

If that’s not enough, a specially selected How to be Brilliant panel of people from Bidfood, JJ Foodservice, KP Snacks and Caterforce will also share advice on how they’ve helped to thrive in their careers.

The Women in Wholesale conference will be held at Wimpole Street in London, with male managers and women of all levels invited to join in. Tickets are available for £200 (plus VAT) and are available on New Era PR’s website.
