FWD calling for Gold Medals entries

Industry awards gathering nominations ahead of November’s ceremony

Entries are now open for FWD’s annual Gold Medals celebrations, with the federation currently collecting nominations from across the sector.

There are 14 awards open for entries, with the great and good of the wholesale industry set to be recognised for their efforts throughout the past 12 months – although the deadline for nominations is on 13 September, so there’s not much time left to enter.

This year’s wholesale Gold Medals canvas a series of categories, including gongs for the best depot manager, wholesale service to retail, wholesale service to caterers, depot star and telesales star, as well as star driver, best digital innovation, customer business development, use of data and insight, smaller wholesaler and green wholesaler. There is also the coveted award for the year’s young wholesaler of the year.

Two supplier accolades are also open for entries, with the young supplier of the year and green supplier awards also available.

Once the deadline passes in September, the focus will turn to whittling down the entries to a shortlist, with the winners revealed at FWD’s popular Gold Medals awards dinner at Old Billingsgate in London on 28 November.

There are still tickets on sale for the black-tie event, with several hundred industry figures expected to gather on the night to celebrate success, but are selling out fast.

To find out more about entry forms, visit the awards page on FWD’s website or contact nikki@fwd-uk.com for information about tickets.
