Creed among UK’s best places to work

Wholesaler Creed Foodservice has been named in The Sunday Times Best Companies To Work For list at an awards ceremony in London.

The Country Range Group member was ranked among the UK’s top 100 companies based on feedback gathered by employees in a confidential survey.

The scores placed Creed among exalted company in the top 100, including car brand Toyota, and comes on the back of the foodservice business reaching a two-star accreditation.

Best Companies’ b-Heard survey invites Creed’s 380 employees to score 70 statements about their wellbeing, pay and benefits, personal growth, their team and leadership.

The annual completion of the survey and a thorough and transparent action planning and communication process across all departments has enabled Creed Foodservice to make continual improvements each year based upon the feedback of its people.

A certain number of points equates to the accreditation rating achieved, so a score of 700 points in 2019 achieved a two-star accreditation for Creed Foodservice and a place on the list.

“Our focus on employee engagement began in earnest six years ago,” said Creed’s People Director, Martin Holmes. “Our work includes establishing our Great People, Great Place to Work strategy, reviewing all aspects of our employee lifecycle and bringing clear focus on our values meaning something and being at the core of everything we do.”
