Women in Wholesale digital series to help industry during crisis

Wholesale industry employees will soon be getting helpful hints and tips to support them through the Covid-19 disruption as part of a Women in Wholesale digital series.

The wholesale initiative, which usually hosts a variety of physical events, has turned to online platforms to deliver an array of vlogs and webinars to help members as they negotiate the challenges of lockdown.

Launching later this summer, the video series is based on a theme of Take Control and will feature a number of key industry figures and how they’re dealing with the coronavirus situation.

Women in Wholesale founder Elit Rowland says she wants the series “to offer support, advice and familiar faces to help our members to stay connected at this time” and is making the suite of content free for people to access.

The series will begin with a Take Control of Working from Home panel, followed by a Resilience in Lockdown webinar hosted by leadership and resilience specialist, Caroline Dakin, who was voted one of the top speakers at 2019’s Women in Wholesale conference.

“Everyone is in survival mode right now,” said Women in Wholesale Chairperson, Clare Bocking. “It’s important for our members to know that they are not alone. We will speak to a variety of people about how they are staying safe and sane at this challenging time.”
