Bidfood advice to help hospitality outlets re-open

Foodservice giant Bidfood is offering a series of support tools for hospitality customers as they prepare to re-open.

With the announcement that pubs, restaurants and cafes – and other hospitality outlets – can accept customers again from 4 July, Bidfood has created a series of guides to provide helpful advice on getting it right.

Bidfood’s 10 Steps to Help You Get Back to Business includes step-by-step advice to help customers consider all aspects of going back to business, with advice on topics such as safely using space while adhering to social-distancing rules, managing finances and hygiene protocols. Other guides look at customer loyalty, marketing advice and how to look after employees.

The first guide of the series focused on hotels and was launched earlier in June, while seven-step checklist designed in conjunction with the School Food Plan Alliance is also live, with more sector-specific content coming in the coming weeks.

The launch of hospitality guides coincides with the re-launch of Bidfood Talking Food, the company’s podcast that discusses and share ideas their customer base is currently facing – with next week’s episode about considering ways to help outlets get back up and running in their kitchens.

“Delivering service excellence, making customers lives easier and helping them to grow has never been more important and while the landscape is constantly changing, we’re working hard at Bidfood to remain agile and adaptable,” said Head of Customer Marketing Gemma Benford.

“By putting our customers first, we are making sure that we can get close to them and the challenges they are facing, to understand how best we can support them in the most effective way for their business.”
