Drivers wanted at JJ Foodservice

JJ Foodservice has launched a search for new drivers across the UK ahead of restaurants and pubs reopening.

According to the government’s Covid reopening roadmap, hospitality businesses will be able to open for outside service on 12 April, with the wholesale sector expecting a significant increase in demand.

JJ is therefore recruiting drivers for roles in each of its 11 UK branches. These include ‘family friendly’ positions that will fit in around school term times.

JJ is one of few foodservice wholesalers to have reported a growth in sales during the past calendar years, with an increase of 1.3% – while customer numbers were up by 22%.

“With outdoor hospitality opening on 12 April and indoor venues opening from 17 May, we anticipate a surge in demand,” said Head of Operations, Kaan Hendekli.

“Having taken on 22% more customers last year – we want to make sure we are ready to respond.”

The vacancies are currently available to view on JJ Foodservice’s website.
