JJ offers mental health first aid training

JJ Foodservice has secured discounted Mental Health First Aid training for restaurant managers to support them ahead of 17 May’s reopening.

“It’s been a tough year for the hospitality sector, and we want to do everything we can to help,” said Baris Kacar, Chief Sales Officer.

JJ will host a Mental Health First Aid training session with Aiding Mental Health at 20% off the usual price.

The half-day online course offers an introduction to mental health issues and includes all course material and certificates.

Caterers can register for the training at http://go.jjfoodservice.com/WellBeing

The support is available to customers and businesses new to JJ that register for a free account.

Alongside this, the JJ team are offering new products and promotions. “Our team has been busy preparing products and services to make sure that restaurants get off to the best possible start,” said Baris.

From Monday 10 May, a ‘Back to Business’ banner on the website will guide shoppers to new products and promotions on foodservice essentials, including extended hygiene and cleaning ranges to support restaurants’ deep cleaning.

Education will also be key to re-opening successfully. “Regulations are changing all the time – so we will help our customers to stay up-to-date with E-Guides,” said Baris.
