Terry Larkin, JJ Foodservice

JJ Foodservice long server Terry Larkin departs

After 26 years at JJ Foodservice, Group General Manager Terry Larkin is leaving the business.

Larkin, who joined the foodservice wholesaler in 1995, is a popular member of the sector and is leaving to pursue other interests.

The long server has been a key part in JJ’s growth across the past three decades, joining when the wholesaler only had one site compared to the 11 it has today.

During his time at JJ, Larkin has been involved in several successful initiatives, including a project supporting the Mayor of London’s Healthier Catering Commitment that encouraged thousands of fast-food restaurants in the capital to offer more nutritious options.

Outside of work, Larkin is know for his love of classic minis, turning his passion into good use by raising thousands of pounds for children’s charities as part of The Italian Job fundraising event – a 3,500-mile trip around Italy in his mini.

To show his loyalty to the cause, Larkin also had his JJ-branded mini in his classics collection.

“Nothing has ever been too much for Terry – he always went the extra mile for customers and has created the first-class service we are well-known for,” said JJ’s HR Manager Joanna Florczak.

“I would like to personally thank Terry and wish him well for the future.”
