Wholesalers shortlisted for Unitas Member Awards

A raft of wholesalers have been shortlisted for next week’s Unitas Member Awards, with more than 20 in the running for the accolades.

The 2021 awards will be announced at Unitas’s annual awards dinner on Wednesday 9 March at Exhibition Centre Liverpool, alongside the buying group’s trade show.

Wholesalers had to be nominated for the awards, with entries subject to a selection criteria that included Unitas’s supplier council to finalise the shortlist.

The criteria for shortlist involved a number of elements. including an exercise to score members against a number of Unitas-developed initiatives.

“We have taken a slightly different approach to our annual awards this year,” said Unitas Wholesale Managing Director John Kinney.

“We have strengthened the judging criteria by including input from our supplier council, we hope that this adds even more value to the recipient.  We wish all of our shortlisted members the very best of luck.”
