Employee development a priority for James Hall & Co

Thirty-four apprentices and graduates had their outstanding achievements recognised at the company’s Learning and Development Awards

James Hall & Co is celebrating 34 apprentices and graduates as they complete 3,400 direct hours of study and 1,165 hours of workplace training to gain qualifications to progress their careers.

The wholesaler has invested more than £200,000 in career development for its employees, who come from different business areas within the business, including retail, trading, supply chain, warehouse, marketing, store design, accounts and health and safety.

“We understand the need to continuously learn and develop at James Hall & Co to support the career development of our employees,” said Emma Rowles, learning and development manager, who is currently doing a Level 5 Learning Development Apprenticeship.

“We consistently create opportunities for those with ambitions to succeed and currently offer 24 apprenticeship pathways from Levels 2 to 6. We currently have 90 apprentices and have ambitions to grow that number.”
