PepsiCo partners with Bestway to give retailers chance to win a van

PepsiCo is once again partnering with Bestway to relaunch its Win a Van competition for the second year in the run up to Christmas

The competition will offer convenience retailers the chance to win a Ford Transit Courier Leader as a way to thank them for their continued hard work during a challenging year for the sector.

To enter, retailers need to buy any £1.25 PMP case of Walkers crisps and snacks for automatic entry into the prize draw. The competition is live now and will run until 5 January 2023, supported by in-depot displays and trade press advertising.

Mike Chapman, head of wholesale at PepsiCo, comments: “We’re aware of the challenges that independent retailers within the convenience sector have faced in the last year. Now more than ever, consumer demand is on products that are affordable and accessible.

“We have kept this front of mind for this campaign by focusing the competition on products which are the biggest drivers for savoury snacks category growth – RRP price marked packs. RRP PMPs now account for 49% of crisps and snacks value sales[1], and contribute to value growth more than any other segment[2]. This competition will give retailers the chance to win a prize that will not only help retailers with the running of their business but will also allow them to boost their sales.”
