Q Catering bolsters senior team
After recruiting Caroline Martin as Sales Director at the end of 2022, Fairway Foodservice member Q Catering has made another senior appointment
The Sittingbourne-based wholesale distributor has appointed Tony Blake (pictured) as its new Commercial Director, the latest in a series of hires as part of the company’s growth plan to reach a turnover of £20 million by 2030.
In his new role as Commercial Director, Tony will head up the Procurement, Marketing and Supply Chain teams, introducing more structure to the business, helping to improve efficiencies and relationships with suppliers. He will be working alongside Steve Clarke, Q Catering’s Managing Director, Nick Jennings, Financial Director and Caroline.
Bringing a wealth of experience with him, Tony left Kent Frozen Foods after 18 years and prior to that he held similar roles at Brakes.
