Added-value service helps Lomond customers with Natasha’s Law

Unitas member Lomond: The Wholesale Food Co is offering an added-value service to help customers get to grips with Natasha’s Law.

The Scottish wholesaler was already fully compliant with the new allergen food regulations before the new regulations came into force on 1 October, but have gone above and beyond to help customers protect their businesses.

Lomond customers can now access a product search tool on a portal via the wholesaler’s website so they can access up-to-date product information at the touch of a button.

A new technical administrator has been appointed to oversee the service and make sure information is kept accurate, while a voice recording has been sent to all customers to remind them they can go online and access all product specifications.

“We have launched a customer-driven product specification search on our website which mean our customers have up-to-date product information at their fingertips,” said Barbara Henderson, Director.

“This will not only ensure they remain compliant for their customers and protect their business, but it will save them both time and effort, freeing them up to focus on sales and profitability.”
