Liebherr is a family owned group of companies building a diverse range of machinery including Cranes, Earthmoving Equipment, Aerospace components and of course refrigeration products.
Our origins go back to 1949 with refrigeration production starting in 1954.
The company branched out from Germany into a number of different countries including the UK in 1961.
We currently have a number of UK sites including our head office in Biggleswade and Sunderland wher we manufacture cranes for marine applications.
Design, Quality & Innovation is at the centre of everything we do with a heavy focus on sustainability.
We operate on a global scale with over 48,000 employees and over 40 production sites.
In the commercial refrigeration arena, we build products for the supermarket / food wholesaler market using integral refrigeration plug in systems. We also build a comprehensive range of beverage chillers, food service cabinets, wine storage cabinets, ice cream display freezers, bakery fridges and freezers and also laboratory and pharmacy cabinets.
