Set up to make sure WiW strategically represents the best interests of members with top industry support, the WiW Steering Committee consists of key industry influencers who all bring different strengths and experience to the table.

 

Clare Bocking, Director at Immediate Impact Ltd

Clare has 30 years of commercial leadership experience, starting her career with Mars as a graduate recruit. She ran the Foodservice and Wholesale divisions for Britvic, the Convenience and Wholesale divisions for Kerry Foods and was Commercial Director for McCormick and Tulip Food Company. Clare is a qualified Executive Coach, passionate about supporting women and is Chair of Women in Wholesale.
Amanda Casey, Health & Safety Manager at JW Filshill

Amanda has been leading on a wide variety of wellbeing initiatives at JW Filshill in Scotland and has been running the WiW Wellness Group for more than a year – attracting a wide range of HR professionals and senior leaders from across the sector. She will be helping WiW to keep wellbeing on the agenda.
Chris Tarquini, Senior Category Manager, Brown Forman 

Chris Tarquini is the senior category lead at Brown Forman and Co-lead on its GROW (Growing Remarkable & Outstanding Women) ERG Committee. Chris ran the first WiW How to be a Male Allie session and will be hosting the WiW Allies community.
Coral Rose, CEO of Fairway Foodservice 

Coral has extensive experience in the food wholesale industry and has been working with wholesalers and manufacturers for more than 20 years. She is a founding supporter of WiW and a member of the FWD Council – helping WiW’s agenda to be heard at the highest level.
Lyndsey Cambridge, Head of Engagement, FWD 

Former Journalist at The Grocer and founder of the Future Leaders Forum for people under 30, Lyndsey is passionate about attracting, retaining, and supporting the next generation of top talent in our sector and a regular columnist in industry titles and WiW blogs.
Jill Livesey, Managing Director of Lumina Research  

Jill Livesey has vast experience in the food and drink sector in the operator and supply side, working with Marks & Spencer, Unilever, and Birdseye. She is a staunch supporter of Women in Wholesale and has provided the data and research for WiW’s compelling reports.
Melanie Tucker, Head of Channel at Biotiful

An official Girls Network UK mentor, Mel is undertaking a Coaching and Mentoring certification alongside her day job at Biotiful to support her passion to develop people and teams. She is a WiW Coach and will be heading up WiW’s Splinter Group Initiative.
Elit Rowland, Head of Communications at JJ Foodservice (WiW founder) 

Former Editor of Better Wholesaling, Elit has been working in wholesale for ten years and founded Women in Wholesale in 2016 after seeing an opportunity to better support females in the industry. Elit is also Head of Communications at JJ Foodservice and is passionate about helping women to feel inspired, supported and connected.
